Start by requesting our Price Package, we’ll send it to you or you can view it at our showrooms in Camp Hill or Underwood. Once you’re happy with the pricing, we’ll arrange a free on-site inspection at your Brisbane home and follow up with a detailed, fully itemised quote including a bathware list and tile quantity breakdown.
How much deposit is required to start a renovation?
We require a $1,000 deposit to secure your booking and start date. This deposit is applied toward the total cost of your renovation. We do not ask for large upfront payments, in Queensland, paying more than 10% upfront to a contractor is a red flag.
Are there any hidden costs I should know about?
Our quotes are fully itemised – you’ll see exactly what you’re paying for before signing anything. The one area where costs can vary is if unexpected issues are discovered during demolition, such as water damage or old waterproofing that needs replacing. If this happens, we’ll contact you immediately with a clear variation quote before any additional work proceeds. We always recommend budgeting a 10–15% contingency for this reason.
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
Once construction begins, most full bathroom renovations take approximately 2–3 weeks to complete. Before construction starts, allow time for the on-site inspection, quoting, product selection, and scheduling lead time, bringing the total from first enquiry to completed bathroom to approximately 6–10 weeks.
Can I use my bathroom during the renovation?
No, once demolition begins your bathroom won’t be functional until the final fit-off stage. Plan for approximately 2–3 weeks without access. If this is your only bathroom, let us know when you first get in touch and we’ll discuss options with you.
Is One Stop Bath & Tiles QBCC licensed?
Yes. All renovation work is carried out by QBCC licensed tradespeople, including plumbing, electrical, and waterproofing. We comply fully with Queensland building regulations and Australian Standards. You’ll receive all relevant certificates at the completion of your renovation.
